Would you feel comforatable telling a person that god gave you a revalation to you about them ? ex. I have a messy pass with someone and there is an appointed time when I will be connecting with this person I want to know if its nessasary to speak on the revalation would you do it?

CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

"God told me this about you..." if I heard those words I'd run. It would just make God seem like a busybody gossip. I think God will reveal what He wants to the actual person. If you have a messy past, then I think it makes it that much more awkward and ill received. Unless it's something totally general and uplifting like, God will use you for good things, I wouldn't tell someone that I had a revelation about them. Not in those words anyway.
