Well first of all I think it's pretty obvious what's going on.

She's not letting you help because of your attitude to the father.
Being if she's with him still or not with him still it may not matter.

1. If she's still with him:
She knows you think he's a looser and she wants to separate all the drama from her child.

2. If they aren't together
Shes trying to prove you wrong in that she can do things by herself. That and the looser didn't screw up her life as parents like to nag about.


- What to do - Leave the boyfriend and your feelings about him out of it.
Go up to them and clearly want the best for your child and your grandson.

Give a little bit to the father if possible. As in be courteous to him even if you don't like him.
