Thank you for sharing. I am sorry you struggle with depression. So do I. When you had depression before did you see a doctor? Do you go to therapy or can talk to a pastor at your church? Once you are born again you are a child of God. God is always with us, but depression is a disease and for some people a huge struggle. Just like there are people who struggle with diabetes (insulin problem in their body) there are those of us who struggle with a chemical imbalance in our brain that can happen when we become overwhelmed or stressed.

Being a believer does not mean we won't struggle in life. Keeping our eyes focused on God is definitely important, but just cause you are struggling doesn't mean you don't have faith or not believing in God.

I am currently reading a book called Deeper - Living in the Reality of God's Love by Debbie Alsdorf. You might find that helpful. Being in God's word and surrounding yourself with Christian music is soothing to your soul. Try not to worry about life right now but focus on feeling better and trusting God will direct you to the help you need to get there. As I am writing these words to you I am saying the same to myself. I will be praying for you. Hugs and God Bless

Dear Jelena,

Praise God you have been born again into God’s family by accepting the work of Jesus Christ on the cross on your behalf.. You are a child of God’s and He says nothing can snatch you from His hand. This is safely and security for a babe in Christ. You rec’d some excellent encouragement in your walk. But I personally am so excited to hear that you are already allowing God to develop your Kingdom Weapons. We have five; Prayer, Worship, Bible Study, Fasting and Communion. I hear of three that you are submitting to God to use for building up and protection. I think if I had started with that years ago, I would be way ahead in my spiritual health and growth right now. So I am excited for you.

I believe that when we come into the kingdom of God we should have mentors and/or caregivers to help us in our spiritual walk. The spiritual walk is about disciplining ourselves to allow God to renew our minds and help us find and apply truth, “rightly dividing the Word of God.” And fellowship is God’s plan for us to support one another and to cover each other’s back.

Let’s just say you are right on track. It is time to trust in the word of God that you have been reading. It is time to pray and stand strong in your new found faith because when you do your faith will grow and you will be strengthened. Your spiritual health will get stronger with every step you take and every weapon you use. God says “Believe on Me and thou shalt be saved.”

That word BELIEVE is a HUGE word. We must believe His word is true. We must believe that he will keep His promises. We must believe that He is able to keep all that we have entrusted to Him. We must believe that He is our hope, gives us grace and mercy, sustains you and lifts us up. All of this is essential to the spiritual walk that He has planned for you.

Hold fast to that which is good. Do not let the devil deceive you. Do not turn to the right or to the left but trust and obey. God will do the rest. God bless you. You are just beginning the great adventure that God has planned for you. I encourage you to keep on keeping on remembering that today is the first day of the rest of your life.

YOU are not alone! I have felt it too- on the same timeline. Exactly! I am scared and feel guilty, because it's DIFFERENT. Have you had Covid at all?

The 'Covid' and many other troubling things in our present confused and failing world scene, seems to me clearly showing a climax with our Creator-God"s allowance for mankind; and the 'rapture" ('wondrous uplifting') of the universal Church is drawing near. I have seen clearlyl in Scripture that this age of Grace is ending, and mankind has only a very few more years of "grace" (as found in Jesus Christ), which I can share if one wishes to chat further on Conversation page herein.
Let us be very sure that our hope is NOT in just a religous belief, but in such as John 3; John 14; Romans 8; etc. -1watchman

Thank you for the answer, it is true that we need to grow from being baby Christian. I do not doubt God, i 100% belive He is real and the Gospel is real.

However, i doubt my salvation since i see how fruits stopped appearing in my life, and how i went downhill on the inside and out. When i look at my life and relationship with God i can be almost sure that i was going to Heaven at the beginning of this journey, but now every day seems like running from hell.

I dont doubt God but i doubt am i His child? Its like i cannot accept His grace :/

We KNOW that, by the Gospel truth (see John 3; John 14; John 17; Romans 8; and ALL the four Gospels (you need to read God's Word); and note that Jesus said: "I will never leave you, nor forsake you"; which is true IF one has received Him. Without the Lord Jesus in our heart we will have NO PART in our God. A believer then needs to be walking and talking with our Savior all day. The promises of God are SURE!
Write me anytime personally if you wish to talk about such things and our Holy Bible, friend. -1watchman

Can GOD lie? I think you already know the answer.

If GOD makes a promise it will be fulfilled. So take GOD at HIS word, HIS word overrides all your doubts about yourself and Christ's sacrifice covers all your sins.

You were called by GOD and I'm guessing you have accepted GOD"s calling, Christ, put your faith in Him, His death, His resurrection on the third day and been baptised and received the Holy Spirit.

You are on a journey to the kingdom of GOD being sanctified, being transformed along the way, sometimes you will enter into what some call the wilderness where it seems you are alone and not moving forward but GOD is always by your side, sometimes we just cannot see it or sense HIM.

The wilderness experience seems to be a trial of our faith to make us stronger and overcome weaknesses which does happen at times. Or where satan is trying to keep us from the path which also seems to happen at times. Either way it is based around our faith which at times can be weakened due to circumstances or even attacks. This is when Christians should help one another, build each other up, strengthen one another especially in the times when these weaknesses occur.

We as Christians will face many obstacles along our path some from GOD to strengthen us and some from satan too weaken us and draw us away from GOD.

Just try to remember there will be ups and downs for even the most devout of Christians and sometimes we will sin but repent and continue your journey.

Satan will try and whisper in your ear, that you are not worthy or good enough for the kingdom and that you still make mistakes but as a Christian, we should already know, we were never worthy or ever will be, that's why Christ died for our sins,

Peace be to all those in the Body of Christ.

Well the fact you are here means you are doing good in terms of worrying about your walk. Those who are in real trouble are those who fall back into their old life and don't even notice or care. Life is hard, I've had times recently where I felt distant from God also. I love Him, I believe in Him, I want to make Him happy. But I am back sliding and I hate it. Just gotta keep praying and looking for answers. Maybe make some more life changes.
