Advent Season

It could be said that the two most important events that Christians
celebrate each year are the birth of our Savior, Jesus Christ,
and later His resurrection.
So, starting today through December 26th
I will be giving only bible verses (no quotes)
leading up to the birth of Jesus - starting in Genesis.
May we meditate on this profound act of love and mercy
God has done for us through His one and only Son.

Your descendants will be like the dust of the earth, and you will spread out to the west and to the east,
to the north and to the south. All peoples on earth will be blessed through you and your offspring.
Genesis 28:14 (NIV)
