  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

Now there is another Puppy for 3000. I was able to rescue Johna for 1000 but I can't take that one.

That pet was created just to get blessings. It is only one day old...
It is also the end of the month so it will be deleted over the week-end... please just leave it there and do not adopt it so who ever created it will lose all blessings it took to create it.... We are only being used...

how about this........... the adoption center could be separate from the day care center. it could be funded (like the planned hospital) so it will only take in pets priced at the original cost to create the pet. the pet owner will recieve that cost back when the animal is placed into the adoption center, but they will not be allowed to own another pet for an agreed upon time (say three months).

If the pet owner wants to charge more for the adoption, then they will have to advertize the pet for private adoption themselves in the pet forum, and will have to keep the pet in good health while it is up for adoption.

any pet owner who willingly lets a pet die would be barred from owning or creating another pet.

right now there is no way to tell why a pet is in daycare. whether the owners placed them there because they would be away, or whether it is a rescue pet up for adoption and is there because of multiple pet ownership. could just be that the function of the current day care/adoption center needs re-thinking.

I hope no one bought that pet. It's sad to think that someone might do something like that.

As far as the price of pets up for adoption, I think that it should remain free market as it is now. If we cannot save every pet, we can't. We do what we can. What I would like to see is the price of creating a pet rise dramatically. It takes so little to create one in proportion to the amount of blessings that they consume that it is often done with little consideration as to whether that person is going to be able to feed it or not.

I'd like to see the price of creating a pet go to at least 1500. That might help decrease the number of pets we see up for adoption that are less than a week old, and might make it easier to get the existant pets adopted out.

The good thing is that the person lost blessings on this one. I had seen it. I can't fathom why people are putting one day old pets in adoption.

It really doesn't make any sense to make pets just to put them in adoption. Then we would buy them to save them.

Here's a thought--

Let's just agree among ourselves not to take on any pets anymore that cost more than the 700 blessings the owner paid to create them. If they put them up for 1500 or 2000 or 3000 blessings, oh well--let them kiss their blessings goodbye and learn an object lesson in the pitfalls of greed. We can put the kybosh on this sort of behavior immediately if we simply don't allow ourselves to be taken advantage of any more.

 Excellent suggestion. I will adopt that policy right now.
