  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

Actually it's more like this, if you ignoring newguys words you are ignoring scripture therefore God's word. Very witty indeed.
I know where you live, where Satan has his throne.

Don't ask me, I'm only quoting the word of God... if you ignore my post, you're ignoring God's word.

I'm curious to see what people have to say...

If you had ability to do so, would you let Hitler out of Hell? (Assuming he is in hell that is, nobody can really know for sure...)

I'm obviously not saying anyone DOES have the power to do such a thing, but if you could, WOULD you?

According to the Scriptures all unbelievers who have passed from this realm are now in the grave (sheol, Hades, Hell) [not the everlasting lake of fire (Rev.20:14)] awaiting their resurrection (complete with resurrection bodies) unto judgement before the Great White Throne and everlasting perdition in the Lake of Fire.

Their everlasting destiny is now fixed (Heb.9:27) and absolutely nothing will be done to change that.

Speaking hypothetically, even if I had the ability to redeem Hitler from his everlasting destiny I wouldn't. Were I to do so it would mean that he would have escaped the consequences of his actions and thus for him his entire existence would ultimately have no meaning whatsoever. He would never have understood that God rather than he was the meaning of all existence and life (including his own) and that everything that exists is contingent upon God. We have been created for God's good pleasure, He has not been created for our good pleasure.

Must be kind of weird for all the Jews who died in the holocaust to be in hell with Hitler...

Whilst some Jews who died as a result of the holocaust may be in perdition with Hitler, it cannot be said with any certainty that all of them are there. Some of them may well have trusted Jesus of Nazareth as their Messiah in which case they are now with Abraham in Paradise awaiting their resurrection unto Eternal Life (Rom.10:5-13)?!

Furthermore I resent the racist and antisemitic implication that all Jews are as evil as was Hitler and therefore are now sharing his fate.

In responce to NewGuy101 claim... according to fundamentalist scripture all Jews post-Jesus are in hell.

As far as I can see NewGuy101 has made no such claim on this thread so your post is unjustified?

I'd take him out of hell so I could personally torture him myself.

I would let everybody out of hell or at least end their suffering.

So you, a sinful creature, believe that the Perfect, Righteous and Holy God is wrong to send people to the everlasting Lake of Fire because of their sin?!

Can't wait to see you try and justify that one on the Day of Judgement

Hitler's not in hell. He's dead. When he's resurrected, he'll either live or die according to the decision of the Judge. The Judge will be just.

According to the Scriptures, Adolf Hitler, along with all the other unbelievers who have passed from this life, is now in Hell awaiting his resurrection unto judgment and everlasting perdition...'Abandon hope all ye who enter here'

Jews reject Christ, thus reject God. The words of Jesus speak for themselves as to the fate of people who reject God.

Now that is according to fundamentalist scripture (all non-chrsitians goto hell).

Personally i do not believe that so your attacks on my are unwarranted.

i believe majority of Jews who died in holocaust to have been saved by the Lord, out of his goodness and mercy...these were people put in the worse possible he** on earth. I belive that the Lord extended his grace to them, so that they would be saved. Dont underestimate his mercy.

So is the popular notion that we experience heaven or hell immediately after we die false?

Heaven - yes, Hell - no. All unbelievers go upon leaving this realm to the place where dead people go (variously known in Hebrew as Sheol; in Greek as Hades and in English as Hell which, although it is a place of extreme torment and suffering (Lk.16:19-31) is not the same place as the everlasting Lake of Fire (Rev.20:14)).

The believers on the other hand go, not to Heaven (Jn.3:13) but rather to be with Abraham in Paradise (Lk.23:43), there to await their resurrection unto Eternal Life. For believers, although they are also in the place where dead people go and, like the unbelievers, are also temporarily disembodied spirits, they are still, by means of the Holy Spirit, in communion with God (i.e. 'business as usual' -Eternal Life begins when one becomes a believer, not at the resurrection - Eternal Life is consumated at the resurrection, not commenced) and therefore not experiencing any suffering or pain.

mezza writes "Jews reject Christ..." as if *all* Jews reject them, and as if this were a fact.

wrong, you also seem lacking in any understanding about the Jews value to God, their position with him and his plan for them, as well as God's mercy

Isn't the judgment after the first death? It'd be kinda nasty to give me my final punishment before I was judged.

Yeah, I think it's false. Heck, I don't even think our future consists of those two concepts. I think the scriptures teach us plainly the choice is to Live or to Die, not that all will live forever....either in heaven or in "hell". That's just more unscriptural babylonian baloney.

So what you're saying is that you're right and the Messiah who, as God, incarnate as a man, is the sole source of our teaching on the everlasting Lake of Fire (i.e. Gehenna) is wrong?!

Oh, that it were that simple... This fails to take into account the fact that it is possible to misquote the Word of God (not that I am claiming that that is what you are doing but there are many on this site who do).

I think Hitler should be given a second chance... JK!!!

I don't think you realize the gravity of the situation or the true nature and extent of the evil that Hitler perpertrated. Adolf Hitler of his own volition became totally involved in the occult and as a result became totally demonized. Consequently, as a human being, made in the likeness of God, he progressively perished beyond redemption whilst he was here on Earth and is now continuing the process (of his own choice) in the hereafter.

Do you really think God would say anything out of context? It's God's word, period. He says it, I believe it, that settles it.

/end sarcasm

God wouldn't but some of those who claim to be representing Him often do?
