Morgoth sat on his throne in his true form healing his wounds he then summoned Demongo. Demongo release the Warg riders, Griffins, and Werewolves to hunt down the humans and Guardian bring the girl and the Guardian back to me alive you can feed the others and those that are housing them to our pets. As you wish master. Demongo then took the form of a massive werewolf and ran of to find and capture his master’s prey. Morgoth then headed for his deep dungeons and mines where slaves toiled in the excavating and forging of weapons and armor for their master's ever-growing armies. The dungeons were also the home and training area for Morgoths Orcs, Goblins, and other monsters there were deep pits and dens for the wolves and Wargs that served as the Orcs and goblins steeds and large forges where monstrous Cyclops’s forged Morgoth's demon solders weapons. But Morgoth headed for the torture chambers where the screams and cries of thousands of captives could be heard. There mages mutilated the thousands of men and elves that were captured by orc raiding parties. The captives were slowly turning into a new form of orc but man sized and the magic’s and fires of hell gave the mutilated captives hatred for all life on earth the creatures were slowly growing rough coats of fur and rows of sharp serrated teeth. And eyes that could see farther than elves. Yes they are doing nicely soon these will be fierce warriors that shall be my chosen children. Satan has the Orcs, Goblins, and other monsters, God has the humans and Elves and I Morgoth have the Morlocks

Ryaren looked on with interest as Arela played with the light. She wonder whether the light was responding as it danced away from Arela's open palm. The Kenderila was still in her hand. She probably should give it back to Liam, but he had already gone to sleep.

"Ryaren, where are you from? I'm afraid we didn't have time to introduce each other, I don't think that armored thing would have let us."

Ryaren turned to regard the girl beside her, thinking of what to say. It wasn't as if she had a dark secret to her past anyway. Throwing a piece of wood into the fire, Ryaren said quietly, "I don't have a destination, as i'm on a journey for my training."

"Training?" Arela asked.

Ryaren nodded, the fire casting shifting shadow on her face, "It's a tradition. Every child who exhibits magical ability has to undertake a three years journey on his own. This is my first year."

"...undertake a three years journey on his own. This is my first year."

Arela replied to Ryaren, "Oh, do you like the training? It kind of sounds like fun. I can't really remember any of my family or anything, I don't know what happened to them. As far back as I can remember, I was raised in the woods by a good man and his wife, but they weren't my real parents. It was a happy life though! And I got to play tag with the squirerels a lot," she giglged as she said that, and her hair fell across her face, which she promptly flicked back behind her shoulders.

Ryaren smiled at Arela's playfulness and asked her, "Who usually won, the squirrels or you?"

"Oh, we don't really keep track, I don't think they can count anything but nuts anyway."

Ryaren wrapped the Kenderila up with a spare cloth. "What an interesting hobby you have," she said to Arela, finding her intriguing. Rising to her feet, she walked over to Liam.

"Just going to return this," she whispered. Stopping over the guardian, whose eyes were closed and arms crossed, Ryaren placed the artifect on his arms. If anyone was going to steal it, Liam's lightning fast reflexes were enough to protect it.

Hank woke up in the middle of the night and looked around. Everyone was asleep. Perfect, he thought. They would never miss him. Hank slowly crept toward one of the girls, he couldn't think of her name. When he got close he saw that Liam, if that was his name, had a sloth rapped around a horn. He has it, hank thought. He was slowly creeping toward him when he saw a movment in the corner of his eye. He turned around and here was a huge wolf, ready for the pounce. Hank shout a blast of fire at it and yelled out.

Ryaren straightened quickly as sound filled the surrounding. It was no ordinary noise as far as she could tell.

Then things became a blur.

Five wolves and four orcs dashed out towards her and Liam from the forest, the orcs swinging their clubs and the wolves baring their teeth. Ryaren whipped her sword out as Liam leaped up, cradling the Kenderila in the crock of his elbow. His left hand reached out and came into contact with his staff. Ryaren slashed widely with her sword, at this time, she wished she could have mastered the skill of assault type magic. Stepping backward, her sword caught the jaw of a wolf.

"It's stuck!" she said frantically as she tried to yank the blade clear, but the motionless wolf stared up at her. Its lifeless yellow eyes appeared to be mocking. Turning about with the hilt of the sword still in hand, Ryaren put forth her palm towards the orc whose club was working its way to her skull. A fireball the size of an egg appeared out of thin air, and Ryaren's jaw dropped. The orc paused momentarily in surprise as the feeling of heat touched its tough hand. Shaking its hand as if swatting a fly aside, the orc's mouth widened into a vicious grin.

Liam laughed at Demongo, his eyes anything but merry. "I do not know about my friend here, but I refuse. Not harm us? What happens when we enter his throne room and he tries to sway our wills? Your master is already sentanced to Hades."

"I am warning you," Demongo growled another decibel lower. "Your precious little humans will suffer."

Arela suddenly leapt out of the bushes behind Demongo and landed on his shoulders, releasing at that moment a fire arrow she had already made in her palm. The arrow drove through the armor into the soft flesh under the neck. Demongo whirled and caught her with a long arm, throwing her against a tree trunk. She crumpled to the ground and Demongo raised his hand on his unharmed side, a long spear materialising as he roared with fury. Her life might have ended there if Liam had not interfered.

Thus far, he had not attacked any enemy, only defended himself with his magic. But now he swung the staff and for a fleeting moment, it seemed like a the white leaf-carved tip glinted a cold steel blue. The staff struck Demongo's unhurt arm and the armor splintered and flew like angry wasps above his head. Demongo now cried in agony and clutched his arm, calling for more wargs as reinforcements.

Liam now had an arrow notched to his bowstring as his stallion spun on it's hind legs, sending a werewolf sprawling into its fellow. Choas reigned.

Hank was using his sword like a scythe, reaping in orc-heads. Very soon, though, they passed him by as they headed for the two they had aimed for in the first place.

Arela had reentered the world from her unconscious state to find two orcs standing over her with evil grins and evil swords. She jerked her hand up -- still clutching her dagger -- and the one fell sideways, falling on his fellow and slowing his reaction. Arela put him out of his misery with a well-placed kick, snapping his spine.

Try as he could, Liam could not see Ryaren amid the boiling mass of the clearing. Demongo was once again clutching for his firewhip and they couldn't resist forever. Liam unwrapped the Kenderila and a fleeting smile touched at the corners of his mouth. As he touched it, the burnished black metal seemed to burn his skin. Then he blew the horn, summoning the very earth itself to aid them. For a moment, the echoes hung on the air as the orcs looked up in astonishment. Demongo reared back as if struck and he began to fade, knowing the consequences of the horn-blast.

The whole clearing seemed to still, then the earth seemed to groan beneath their feet.

The club thudded down onto the ground beside her head, Ryaren pushed her foot against the side of the wolf and the blade was suddenly wrenched free, the momentum carrying her rolling to a side. Coming up to her feet, Ryaren was unaware of the exchange between Liam and Demongo, let alone Arela's brave charge at the demon, for she was too busy fending for her life, all the while berating herself for not being able to cast a single normal fireball; but there was no such thing as normal in her magic dictionary anyway.

As she hacked at the thick body of an orc while trying to kick away a wolf without being bitten, the rich sound of a horn came from behind her and the earth groaned as if in pain. For a moment, nothing happened except the continuous rumbling of the ground, its noise and slight shaking causing both parties difficulties in concentrating on the fight. Ryaren took the opportunity to slip past another orc only to found herself being blocked by three more wolves.

Then it happened.

The soil shot out from the ground in the shape of many hands, with soil particles falling off in little bits and chunks as the finger like claws grasped the orcs and wolves and any other creatures summoned by Demongo. The hands appeared and moved so fast that none of the dark creatures had time to evade and move out of range. Ryaren backed away from the three wolves which were biting ferociously at the hand to no effect, their teeth and jaw filled with wet and dry dirt.

"Liam... Arela, and Hank!" Ryaren spotted Liam with the horn to his lips, Arela was staring at the tentacle like "arms" with a fire arrow in hand, and Hank was clutching his bow uncertainly. Ryaren hurried forward to join them, dragging the blade behind her.

The noises in the small clearing seemed suddenly to fade as the flexable earthen fingers claimed their last victims before plunging underneath with the speed that they had come. Somewhere underground, they heard the mournful bay of a wolfhound one of the orcs had used to scent the humans.

Liam dropped the Kenderila as if it had seared his flesh. Hastily, he dismounted and wrapped it in the discarded and now-tattered cloth, extending it to Ryaren, an expression bordering on pain in his eyes. "I told you I cannot possess it," he told her.

"Why?" Ryaren accepted it somewhat uncertantly, unable to contain her curiosity.

Liam didn't answer for a moment, stroking the muzzle of his stallion. "It's the law," he said simply. "I do not know."

"Wait," Arela muttered, then louder -- "Wait a moment. We've been assaulted three times by a demon or demons, attacked by countless hordes of orcs, goblins, wargs and their riders, werewolves and not to mention just saved by huge earth-hands just wiping them off the surface of this planet?"

"What's going on?" Hank's voice had a tinge of hysteria. "I can't make heads or tails of this situation."

Ryaren glanced at Liam. "And also, if this Kenderila is such a valuable and powerful object, why are you giving it to me? I guess I'm wondering why you would trust me -- you've only known of my existance for less than two days."

"Longer than that. You could say the Kenderila knew of your existance long ago. Don't you see? It has chosen you."

The words gradually sank into her uncomprehending mind, and her eyes widened in amazement.

"Wait.... you mean, you know me before? and this... thing too? How old are you anyway?" she blurted out her churning thought. Her hand flying to her mouth, she suddenly realised that she had made an uneasy question. Ryaren winced inwardly. When she was tensed and confused, she tended to say things without meaning to.

Fingering the Kenderila unconsicously, she glanced at Liam embarrassingly.

Hank was waiting for an explentation from Liam. He knew that there group couldnt stand much more punishment from the evel ones. He was out of arrows, and his sword was as dull as the flat side of a rock. They needed to get out of here before more people assulted them. All of theese thoughts were coursing threw his head when Liam spoke. Hank wasnt listening to any of Liams words though, he was only listening to the words of Morgoth. Morgoth had spoken to him before he had meet the party, but he had denied his words. Even after the battle with Mrgoth, hank still was'nt certian about Morgoth, but that night, he had decided to do as Morgoth had requested. An hour before the black clad man had ran through his hut, Morgoth had apeared and said, "You will get a chance to control a mighty horn. If you can nab it from the holders, I will bring your wife and children back!" Hank had banished him, but after thinking for a long time, he had decided to give the Horn to Morgoth. But before he could do that, he was attacked. Now hank made up his mind, he would protect the Horn from Morgoth! "Hank...Hank...Hank, are you listening?" Liam's voice brought him back to reality.

Demongo returned to Angband in shame he during the earthquake had lost his ancient form that he had since he entered Morgoth's service. Morgoth looked at Demongo with disdain and anger Demongo if you weren’t so useful to me I would open the gates to Hades and send you back to your old master. Please forgive me my lord mercy I shall not fail you again Demongo pleaded. Go to Ulmo Demongo and do not return until you take a new form. Yes master Demongo vanished into the north where Morgoth had built another fortress in the mountains of current Germany where Demongo had set up his abode. Morgoth then summoned his captains there were seven captains each one representing the races that Morgoth controlled The Orcs were commanded by a rather large Uruk, the humans were controlled by a three tall man always dressed in spiked armor then the demons were commanded by three monstrous demons (Demongo is one of them) and last the Morlocks whom Morgoth took as his chosen children were lead by the strongest of the Morlocks the monstrous beast called Sarg. Generals I am ready to launch the war on Earth we are now strong enough to wash this planet in a festering darkness as soon as we get the Kenderila nothing will stop us Sarg I want a hundred of your best troops to find our quarry kill all but the girl that has the Kenderila succeed and you shall rule the earth as my heir. With pleasure master we shall hunt them down and kill them all.

"...How old are you anyway?"

As she watched Liam's face while Ryaren asked the string of questions, Arela started to laugh silently, shaking a bit with inward mirth.

"Oh, well since we're in for a tale, shall I sit down? I have a little bit of cleaning to do," she said, as she looked woefully at her stained dagger and dirty hands, "and besides, my head feels a bit heavy at the moment." Her head, where it hit the tree, had begun to throb a little.

Without really waiting for an answer, she sat down. She wiped her daggers on the ground, and then took a cloth from inside her cloak. As Arela wiped her hands and then the daggers with the cloth, which did not seem to get dirty, and yet left the daggers shining clean in the sunlight. Then they began to glow red, then a red-orange; the hues steadily changed colors and got lighter and lighter until finally they were glowing a nice, clean white.
