So just keep up the junk about teapots circling the sun, a pasta god, and leprechauns; and I'll keep you guys scratching your heads and wondering why I'm not responding.

When you make ridiculous statements like, "Without God there wouldn't be any atheists," then you should expect someone to ask you if you believe in the FSM. Why you continue to pretend that there are no logical inferences based on the stuff you claim here is beyond me.

Fine then -- ask away.

Here's your answer: 16.

No, I don't ignore logic -- read my link, please.
According to your link, you ignore logic.

Something does not become "logic", just because you call it that. Just as something does not become "age", because you call it that.

I know that this contradicts your "logic", but that is how the rest of the world communicates.

I will explain clearly for you.

Your viewpoint of the bible scriptures + bible scriptures= ignorance or illogical in reason
Of course it is, jcslao -- it's only a literal interpretation of Genesis 1; and if a literal interpretation of something is illogical to you, then I suggest you stay away from the phone book.

How do you reconcile a literal interpretation of G2, then, since it contradicts the order of events in G1?

Agreed. A lightbulb "created with age" (i.e. a burned out filament) is just a poor quality lightbulb. And a person "created with age" is diseased. Progeria - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

And how does that address the point I was making? If atheism proves God exists, then it also proves the FSM exists. Does God really want you to abandon logic whenever you feel like it?

Blind -- not delusional.

No, I don't ignore logic -- read my link, please.

No, the Book is not 'simple' to those who have been 'INDOCTRINATED' otherwise.

You can't get past Genesis 1, you have no idea at all what embedded age is, and as far as basic doctrine is concerned -- I won't even go there (in this post).

I've said this so many times, and yet it bears repeating again:

If you can't get past Genesis 1, you're in for one doosey of a ride, as it only gets worse from there.

No not blind, I or anyone that is an unbeliever basically took off the religious goggles and put on 'reason'.

Science?

I corrected the above for you.

Genesis 1 is simple to get past when you coincide it with reason but Genesis 2 is well

The Bible doesn't mention the Flying Spaghetti Monster either way. So does that mean you're open to the possibility?
Point #3 below says, "no":
Here is a set of standards that I have come up with, that I use to dictate what I believe:

  1. Whatever the Bible says is -- is.
  2. Whatever the Bible says isn't -- isn't.
  3. If the Bible doesn't say, but science does -- go ahead and believe it at your discretion.
  4. Above all: NEVER let science override the Bible, no matter how convincing science may sound.

But again that's your interpretation which will not be in agreement with other Christians who do not take the book of Genesis as being literal. You use your own interpretation as stated before to get your viewpoint across which can be wrong.

The book is hopeful, why? because its logic to just pick up and find a number and call. The Bible, well its filled with wisdom but certainly contains massive amounts of fables that have yet to be proven.

Only those that have been indoctrinated at young age will take Genesis 1 literal...

What???? You are the one that claimed atheism wouldn't exist without your god. I didn't make that claim. All I said was that if atheism proves God exists, then it also proves the FSM exists. Now, if you were making some other point, then please correct me and tell me what point you were trying to make.

No point #3 says "at your discretion".

That means the FSM is a possibility as far as AVET's little boolean list is concerned.Awesome!
You might want to read that point again:

If science says the FSM doesn't exist, go ahead and believe it at your discretion.

But, hey -- if you want to talk yourself out of understanding me, please don't let me interfere.
