Action, Dramatic, what do you write?

Just wondering what genre you all right in. For example, Action, War (Which is action but...), Dramatic, Romantic, Historic....

Hey there!

I write humor -- It is said that some people tell funny things, and others tell things funny. I'm told I fall into that latter category. That's probably because I love words.

My poetry tends to be more image than concept -- more concrete than ethereal. I write about real things, real feelings. With verse (rhyme), however, I can be funny.

I'm also trying to post in CF, a lot. I think it's good practice!

1- It's a comedy about a girl suffering from depression and anxiety and panic attacks.
2- A sci-fiction about a Mexican immigrant.
3- An action drama about superheroes and the news and communists and nuns and incited abortions and burning flags.

Let's see. I have trouble putting my stuff in genres, but I guess I write sci-fan the most (a mix between science fiction and fantasy). Quite a bit of my works have to do with some form of religon/spirituality, does that count for something? I hardly ever work in Non Fiction. Come to think of it, the best genre I can get for my works is General Fiction xD

How I thrive on suspense.Ghost stories,hauntings etc. I branch out into writing about family as well.Children and brain injury survival,missing children,cancer survival stories.

I mostly write historical fiction, but I enjoy wandering into other genres, or mixing them. In my Arthur novel, for instance, each of the three sections is written in a different style. My favorite is the third, an unabashed murder mystery, almost a parody I suppose but a lot of fun to write.

I'm suprised how many of you use historical fictio----then again with WWII...

Stuff with light mystery/detective elements, with some horror thrown in to keep you on your toes, all wrapped around (what I hope is) a potent allegory (of sorts).
