I think iI have a relatively some question (for once).
) say that Peter had no Authority to offer or even continue the ministry of John the Baptist & the earthly ministry of Christ.
It's my understanding that (1) Peter is preaching the same Word that began to be preached with John the Baptist - Act 10:37 (2) The "the times of refreshing " is a referrence to "His Rest" or the yet future millennial kingdom (3) Peter is also saying that IF Israel repents, Christ would return.
During Peter's previous speech he states:

I guess my question is: Do you believe Peter continued all that Christ began to do and to teach and offerered the Kingdom (times of refreshing) in early part of Acts?
