Accountability Partners

Hey guys,
I had an idea and I thought I'd run it by you. I'm not to sure (again) that I'm in the right place for this topic. lol
But since I thought this was a deeper fellowship type thread I thought I'd just post it here.
I'm truly looking for an accountability partner, and maybe thought if I made a thread about it, others would come forward and want one as well.
I'm trying to get back on the right path with God, and I've tried to have a accountability partner before but usually they've bailed out or just didn't feel like it. Would anyone be interested in trying that kind of program? If not it's fine, but it never hurts to ask. Any questions just let me know..

Sure, I'd love to be a partner. I think every Christian should have one!!! It's easy to fall into the trappings of the world and forget our special times with Our Father in Heaven!

Well I was thinking everyone could pair up with someone else, and the way it works is this:

If there's things in your life that you need help with, your partner will be there to help you with them, like encouragment, prayers, advice, love, friendship, and/or a listening ear but also make sure you stay on the right track. To make sure you do the things you need to do, something that you don't want to do, they make sure that you do, so on and so forth. Does it make sense? And if anyone else has any ideas that will help too!

I would love to find an accountability partner. I have long been going thru a struggle and do not feel comfortable talking with someone from our church. Please let me know if anyone is interested. Thanks!
