  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I am a pretty new Christian (about 9 months). I have grown really strong in the last months, especially during the summer, where I went on a mission trip and became closer to Jesus in unbelievable ways. I am really afraid that my boldness will fade once school goes back in session. That's why I am looking for an accountability buddy- someone I can talk to about my struggles and listen and help them as well. Preferably someone who has texting, and who is in high school, so we can relate. Thanks guys!:groupray:

I can be your accountability partner! I'm kinda in your same situation except i've been a new christian for about 2 months. During the summer i got saved on my church's mission trip but i have been going to church since i have been in grade school but just have recently gotten more involved and joined my new church. Im a junior in high school and i have texting so just let me know! :)
