I just deleted/uninstalled some ATI driver?
Now vlc media player doesn't work. Under device manager /video controllers+video controller VGA compatible says

"The drivers for this device are not installed. (Code 28)
To reinstall the drivers for this device, click Reinstall Driver."

There's nothing there to reinstall and windows searching can't seem to find one

location is:
PCI bus 1, device 5, function 1
PCI bus 1, device 5, function 0
computer is

windows xp pro 2002
service pk 3
amd 64x2 dual core 4200+
2.19ghz 896ram
desktop HP

Realplayer still works a bit, but is very jerky and sometimes can't quite keep up with the vid. VLC just freezes on the 1st frame.
I've downlaoded a couple ATI catalyst things but still not working.
Any suggestions would be much appreciated. Thanks

A little icon I hadn't noticed before showed up along the bottom toolbar. Computer was very slow so for some reason I thought that icon was a virus, and uninstalled it. (it was 200mB) System restore didn't do anything.

Real player will work now, although only with a small screen size (bigger doesn't flow evenly) vlc player still won't work at all, other than for audio.
