(Eph.1:6-9)
"To the praise of the glory of His grace, wherein He hath made us accepted in the Beloved:
In Whom we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of His grace,
Wherein He hath abounded toward us in all wisdom and prudence;
Having made known unto us the mystery of His will,
according to His good pleasure which He hath purposed in Himself;"
I have a few questions for the forum:
1. Who is "accepted in the Beloved"?
2. How and when are we "accepted in the Beloved"?
3. What does it signify to be "accepted in the Beloved"?
Adam is the "unbeloved" dead, cut off, former son of God, who is defiled by the fall; in whom, as his multiplied seed, we are not acceptable to the Father and cannot approach the heavenly Presence of glory in the Holy of Holies.
The Oracles committed to the Jews teach the unacceptability of all in Adam to enter into the presence of the glory of the Father, with the high priests holy garments donned to enter representing the "New Man" and the blood he offered representing the final, once for all acceptable offering, which was typed in the Oracles, sprinkled upon the Mercy Seat, which was representing the second Man and Last Adam's body of "perfection" which received that blood and was accepted as the final offering which removed all remembrance of the transgression of Adam and put away that sin once, for all.
The veil of separation was split by the Presence of glory when Jesus was lifted up, just as the "serpent on the pole" in the wilderness was, which those who were stung by the death bite of the serpent looked upon and were healed, and when the veil was split, the Way was made open for all to enter into the Presence of the Father -if they don the garments of holiness, which represent the New Spirit we get by the Adoption into His One New Man Living Spirit and also, at the resurrection/and or regeneration represent the adoption body we receive when the elements of this creation's body are dissolved and regenerated for us to wear as those holy garments to enter into the Father's presence.
The parable in Matthew 22 teaches about the need to be dressed in the proper wedding garments to "enter into" the Feast of the Son's Wedding.
If we are born into His spirit then we are accepted in Him by the Father's presence of glory.
Haggai chapter 2 speaks of the defilement of our "garments' -in type, which is the "Adam" spirit and body in which we come into our being in, as seed of Adam -the former son of God.
When we are born again, in the One New Man's Living Spirit, who is, Himself, the Beloved of the Father, as the Second Man and Last Adam, and the Firstborn of the earth, the Only Begotten [as Adam, the first, firstborn of earth, is dead] then we are accepted by the Father, in Him and that is everlasting life, which life is in His Son by the New Birth into His Livig Spirit.
Jesus Prays for All Believers
John 17
20 "I do not pray for these alone, but also for those who *will believe in Me through their word;
21 that they all may be one, as You, Father,
are in Me, and I in You; that they also may be one in Us, that the world may believe that You sent Me.
22 And the glory which You gave Me I have given them, that they may be one just as We are one:
23 I in them, and You in Me; that they may be made perfect in one, and that the world may know that You have sent Me, and have loved them as You have loved Me.
24 "Father, I desire that they also whom You gave Me may be with Me where I am, that they may behold My glory which You have given Me; for You loved Me before the foundation of the world.
25 O righteous Father! The world has not known You, but I have known You; and these have known that You sent Me.
26 And I have declared to them Your name, and will declare
it, that the love with which You loved Me may be in them, and I in them."
In His name we approach the Father; in His name we ask what we will; in His name we have eternal Life.
1Jo 5:13 These things have I written unto you that believe on
the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on
the name of the Son of God.
Jhn 20:31 But these are written, that ye might believe that Jesus is
the Christ,
the Son of God; and that believing ye might have life through his
name.
1Jo 3:23 And this is his commandment, That we should believe on
the name of his
Son Jesus Christ, and love one another, as he gave us commandment.
Jhn 14:8
Philip saith unto him, Lord, shew us the Father, and it sufficeth us.Jesus saith unto him, Have I been so long time with you, and yet hast thou not known me, Philip? he that hath seen me hath seen the Father; and how sayest thou [then], Shew us the Father?
Believest thou not that I am in the Father, and the Father in me? the words that I speak unto you I speak not of myself: but the Father that dwelleth in me, he doeth the works.
Believe me that I [am] in the Father, and the Father in me: or else believe me for the very works' sake.
Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater [works] than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father.
And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son.
If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do [it].
If ye love me, keep my commandments.
And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever;
Jhn 14:17
[Even] the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you.
Jhn 14:18
I will not leave you "
fatherless"***: I will come to you.
Jhn 14:19¶Yet a little while, and the world seeth me no more; but ye see me: because I live, ye shall live also.
Jhn 14:20
At that day ye shall know that I [am] in my Father, and ye in me, and I in you.Jhn 14:21
He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him.
Jhn 14:23
Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him.He that loveth me not keepeth not my sayings: and the word which ye hear is not mine, but the Father's which sent me.These things have I spoken unto you, being [yet] present with you.But the Comforter, [which is] the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.
