It's funny though, peopel still speak differently inside of CA. Example: southern CA people say "the" before highways. The 101. The 80. The 1. The 5. The 90.

And some people put "your" in front...

I don't put anything in front :D

u know i quess ur right, come to think of it, my professor is from cali.. she kinda sounds different. but its not as distinguished as like a southern accent. it is funny tho, it makes their voices interesting to hear.

unlike mine. ne-one in washington has no accent if they was born and raised here. we sound boring.

i wish i had one.. i don't get why ppl from diff places sound so stinkn cute. lol

lol... I've never met someone from Washington that says WaRshington. *grimace**shudder*

I find that most people don't have a clue where I'm from. They think I have an accent, but I've lived in so many places, I think I've got a bit of everything.

I think Alaskans are the people least likely to have accents. (Except Natives.)
