Dad, just fyi, I believe that prior to the Fall, the whole universe (i.e. all of God's creation) was operating on a higher plane of existence called, for lack of a better term, a "glorified state."
I don't know what all this entailed, but Scripture does hint at a few things:
Comparing this state of glorification with the Milennial Reign and Eternity Future, we pick up:
- We had a different rapport with animals --- w/possibly the ability to converse with them.
- We had glorified bodies --- immune to suffering and death.
- Everything was in its purest state of existence.
Imagine, as we are rebuilding the Earth after the events of the Tribulation, one guy saying to another, "I need 3 tons of iron over here," and his co-worker just picking it up and bringing it over.
- The ability to go from Point A to Point B instantly.
- The ability to walk through solid objects.
- The ability to lift and carry tons of material?
Or imagine us placing Uranium in a reactor with our bare hands.
What I'm wondering, is if God is going to completely return His creation to its pre-fallen state, or if He is going to make the New Heaven and the New Earth even "more glorified" than His Genesis 1 creation.

So, where I take it further, is extending the different state till after the flood, so as to make the flood a real possibility, basically. And I do have some scriptural reasons to do that.
About the new heavens, that is a good question. One I have not come to a satisfactory conclusion about yet.
It does seem that the millennium is strikingly similar to the pre flood time. A man that dies at a hundred years of age will be called a child, fast crop growth, etc!
If God had the one universe planned for Adam, and another is needed for the new Adam (Jesus), that is fine by me.
But I am not sure, of yet.

The whole passage clearly prophesied the sack and complete destruction of Tyre by Nebuchadnezzar. However, the vivid description of the sack and fall of Tyre never happened. After a siege of thirteen years, until 573BC, Nebuchadnezzar lifted his siege on Tyre and had to arrive at a compromised agreement. Thus Nebuchadnezzar did not destroy Tyre. Tyre was destroyed by Alexander the Great, 240 years later. And furthermore, despite the prophet, the city of Tyre was eventually rebuilt.Say what? Damascus doing something in a certain lifetime?
