• Starting today August 7th, 2024, in order to post in the Married Couples, Courting Couples, or Singles forums, you will not be allowed to post if you have your Marital status designated as private. Announcements will be made in the respective forums as well but please note that if yours is currently listed as Private, you will need to submit a ticket in the Support Area to have yours changed.

  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Planned parenthood does not promote promiscuous sex.
Planned parenthood informs students and parents of many different situations such as what can happen with mixing sex with Partying.
Adoption
How to say NO
That one is in charge of Their body and so much more...

Why not go and visit a few of their sites?? Do a bit of reading and maybe you'll actually learn a thing or two :)

Planned Parenthood promotes the use of contraceptives, which turn innocent teenagers to the dangers of sexual promiscuity.

Are you now changing your position on the effectiveness of condoms?

*see below
Oh, learn that the bolded word above shoud read "will," not "won't."

I did not change my position. Condoms are not effective, which is why I put "protect" in quotation marks. They do not protect you from anything.

I wouldn't endorse premarital sex. But it is a matter of personal choice.

Girls do get pressured into sex by their boyfriends.Teenagers do have sex while under the influence of drugs or alcohol.Teenagers could also do it because of the extremist take parents, teachers and church have--i.e. that if they mess up once they are h***bound, so then they slip up once and say "what does it matter, I'm evil now" and keep on doing it. I think that adults need to adjust their attitude and be supportive and forgiving to kids that slip up instead of screaming at them and cursing them and treating them like possession cases.

Abstinence should be noted as one option but not the only one.It is impractical to say that abstinence is all you can do.So, I think that sex ed based solely on abstinence will do more harm than good.

Hmmm...much to think about here. Teens having sex?*astonishment*...No way!!! In the real world, this is bound to happen...it is inevitable. Yes, condoms may not protect its users to every single thing out there, but it is better than nothing. In my opinion(and apparently several others), Planned Parenthood has already accepted the fact that teens are going to have sex...all they're saying is that it is better to protect themselves with some type of contraceptive...
T
...though I am all for abstinence...it is the only 100% protector of sexual diseases...
God Bless
