Abstaining from the Holy Eucharist or Divine Liturgy due to Menstruation

I believe that yes, I can live and let live. I've done that all my life in my very diverse and dearly beloved tri-state area. I see same-sex couples in the Greenwich Village all the time, and maybe I don't understand how that kind of attraction works and maybe I'd even rather see them with pretty young girls instead (we need more handsome guys who are single and straight, LOL!), but somehow I've never had the urge to run up and assault the couple.

We have already addressed the issue of assault.
But the reason you say that you can live and let live is because you have not yet been persecuted.

Are you aware of the Christians who have ALREADY been persecuted simply for refusing to recognize that a same-sex couple is a valid marriage? I suspect not, or else you could not say what you say. If adoption agencies can be forced to close, photographers and florists sued for refusing to serve "gay" partners as married couples, as they already have been, then all Christians can and will be legally forced to acknowledge "gay marriage".

The logic of their position is that they demand legal acknowledgement of marriage. If they have that - and as state after state caves in it is clear that they do - then they can and will force us to treat them as married, and first fine, then fire employees and close our businesses, and finally imprison us for "hating" them. There is no point at which they will stop and say "OK, here you may say we are not married".

So, basically from what I've heard about the whole disallowing menstruating girls and women from any kind of religious event or ritual and sex, is that it's mostly outdated.
Modern technology allows both menstruating people and people with any kind of bleeding injury, to be clean. Some couples used the Instead Softcup so they can have clean sex. This didn't exist until like 25 years ago nor did the other feminine protection products we have today.

As for injuries, I had surgery last year and the surgeon sealed me up with this pretty cool glue stuff that acts as a new layer of skin until the wound heals. They didn't have this way back in the day. Blood wasn't as easily controlled, so the person couldn't do some of the things they can today.

If it has to do with ritual uncleanliness, it's not outdated; It's judaizing.
