Isn't it amazing how, whenever we have troubles and problems that we can't see an end to, simply reading the bible, having a short little prayer, and listening for God's voice can make it all disappear... I just wanna sing the chorus i sung as a little kid: I Am So Glad!!!
A practical example... I had just arrved at my fiances house to take her out for a bit as she rang me in tears saying she'd just had an arguement with her mum. So I got there, didn't go inside, she came out gave me a hug, and went back inside to grab her bag. While she went back inside I said a little prayer asking God to help us etc... Well she came back out and we drove around a bit looking for her sister who had gone for a walk, we found her went back and my fiance wanted to go back inside and say sorry to her mum (yay!)... So she does, and I leave, turn the radio on and Avril Lavigne is singing:
"Chill out,
What you yellin' for?
Lay back, it's all been done before"
After that I just laughed, and cried...
I'll say it again, our God is amazing, and he helps us without us knowing all the time...
(Oh by the way, could you all pray for us to overcome family issues please!
Okay the reason for this post... Has Anyone got any similar stories about God answering your prayers, requests, or giving you a sign to something important in your life??? Share away...
