Abraham's Covenant with God

I have a few questions regarding Abraham's covenant with God.

1. Was Abraham's covenant with God the first time that a human had made contact with God?

2. Was Abraham's covenant with God after Moses's exodus from Egypt?

3. Before Abraham's covenant with God, was there no "correct religion"? What were humans supposed to follow before this?

Circle covered it pretty well, but I will expand on point number 3. God has had what we call a "progressive revelation" in many ways; at Mt. Sinai the Jews were given much more knowledge and information than those before had, and as Christians we have more knowledge than those who have gone before us.

But Adam walked and talked with God and knew what God expected. His children then would have also had that knowledge of God. As pointed out there was the Noahic Covenant and God's relationship with Noah, such that His family (who had to repopulate the earth after the flood) would have had knowledge of God and His worship.
