Guys, a question.
Is it bad or otherwise foolish to try and write your own psalms in order to glorify the Lord?
Secondly, is it strange to other Christians to read psalms written by other Christians (other than the Bible)? Like, if someone posted his psalms here on this website, would that be unethical to write in the style of the biblical psalms?
The reason I ask is because I LOVE writing psalms, but I don't show anyone because I'm afraid of it being a mistake to do so and almost arrogant (arrogant by trying to imitate or emulate the biblical psalms), and while I have been wanting to post them here for some time, I haven't, simply because I don't want others to be annoyed by them trying to be like the biblical psalms. I hope all that made sense.
Thanks in advance for your thoughts.
