I'm doing a paper on what public schools say our nation's foundation was. I need direct quotes from school textbooks that say our foundation was not on God. Especially those of legal documents (such as the Mayflower Compact) and William Bradford.

Why would school textbooks have statements explicitly denying a national foundation-on-God? And if you need to know what the Mayflower Compact says or what William Bradford wrote, I'm sure google can help yo.

I think you really ought to spend some time thinking about whether nations have a foundation at all, and whether or not construction metaphors help us understand government behavior in any way. Until you put in the time and energy to think more clearly about your topic, there isn't much point in asking others to do your research for you.

Get a book and read it.
