I have a book called The Islamic Antichrist that briefly discusses this. I encourage fellow Christians to check it out.

Muslims by and large observe a different weekly period and calendar altogether, with Friday being their Sabbath. Their calendar is based on Muhammad's career, beginning with his migration from Mecca to Medina. The Antichrist could possibly abolish the traditional Gregorian and Hebrew calendars and religious observations and institute the Muslim calendar in their place.

I have not studied this, so the best I can do this morning is give you some of the commentary I have in my possession.

"change times—the prerogative of God alone (Da 2:21); blasphemously assumed by Antichrist. The "times and laws" here meant are those of religious ordinance; stated times of feasts [Maurer]. Perhaps there are included the times assigned by God to the duration of kingdoms. He shall set Himself above all that is called God (2Th 2:4), putting his own "will" above God’s times and laws (Da 11:36, 37). The holy day was changed to Sunday by Constantine the Great who is a sun worshiper. Constantine is not "the antichrist" but an antichrist who belonged to the fourth beast.

All of the historical points that are made in this thread are pointing to past prophecies. We are at the 'End' of the times, which means we are in the last stretch of prophetic fulfillment. Dan 7:25 has a deeper interpretation that is not seen at first glance. I believe that it is saying that the visions of the prophecy that Daniel was shown will repeat after the initial fulfillment, which is the first 'time' in the passage. The 'times' (plural) depicts the times that the first is repeated between the first and the last fulfillment, and the last is 'The Dividing of Time' when the days are shortened.

It may also indicate a 42 month space of time but there's more to extract from this if we want to see the whole picture. Daniel was shown the initial prophecy but he couldn't understand how it would parallel in future times.

Now, we have passed the previous times and are now in the 'Last-day', and this is when we are to expect a new Revelation, which will be our 'Present Truth' for our time. The Sunday change did not end with Constantine, it was repeated in a spiritual manner. The two sides did shake hands and are worshiping the same false Christ in spirit even when they worship on separate days. It's not the day that makes the difference here in our time, it's the 'Order' of the Law that changed, and when the Order changes so does the Law change.

This then concerns the Letter and the Spirit of the Law. In our present-day we call it 'Law and Order' and in the Bible it's called 'Times and Laws'. They are the same, the Law is ruled by an authoritative power that is the Order of the written Law. This Order is both natural and spiritual, and the Order was changed from the real Messiah to the False Christ after the 'Great Disappointment' in 1844.

This stumble in prophecy is the time when it paused by transgressing the Law of Yahweh. The disappointment led our country into a downward spiral and a falling away occurred when people's hearts fell from God, they simply lost faith and this then led to the 'Liberation Act in 1848, only 4 years after the falling away.

The U.S. Congress changed the 'Times and Laws' of Yahweh in 1848 and this is the final fulfillment of Daniel's 7:25 prophecy. We haven't reached the end just yet. The satan is the present prince of this earth, this means that he is the authoritative ruler, the actual 'Order' of the written Law. The written Law need not change but the authority, and then you have a corrupted system.

The world is still stumped over the 1844 prophecy and remains in 'Times' past, never allowing themselves to be enlightened by new light. Those still struggling with old prophecies will be left behind, or better yet, left below.

Can I ask where you find antichrist in that passage?

The word anti christ is not in the passage, but Christ does say that all who are not of Christ is an antichrist. 1 John 2:18 - 1 john 2:22, therefore using the word anti christ to sumerize the horn of the beast is an exceptal metaphor!
