i'm refering more the quality of life its highly likely that its going to be lower becuase of all the medical costs and adoption does not promise a better life its simply a roll of the dice for a better life maybe. I was not refering to their value to the King and the kingdom but simply to their quality of life.

no christian groups are not more trustorthy but really neither can be trusted because both sides have a stake in how they show the stats so they could twist them to show how much stronger their side is. Christians to advice causes can be just as dishonest if not more then non christians.

i'm gonna disagree and feel free to fight with me but not on this thread. I say abortion just because its there or as a solution to an unwanted child are not options unless its rape, incest or greatly endangers the mother or child and let me explain why. In a rape situation what do you do if the mother becomes suidical and is it right to force a woman or girl to carry that physical, mental, and emotional problem with them because of one man's sin? I say no and with incest the child could be very challenged and possibly abused not to mention all the possible medical problems that that kind of DNA crossing can cause. Endangering life because we have enough single parents in this world and its not right to force the child to group up without a mother because they will blame themselves.

I would ask you to find a woman who has had an abortion and is willing to talk to you about it. There are millions of women out there who deeply regret the choice they made and will live the rest of their lives with some level of regret.

Even those who become Christians and understand that God has forgiven them still have to deal with consequences.

Send me a pm if you'd like.

Abortion is NOT a solution.

This is just not true. Because of the costs to adopt and the screening process it is highly unlikely that a child will go to a home where it will not be cared for financially, emotionally and physically.

Is it valid to kill children who live in sub standard conditions merely because they are unborn? Shall we now demand that people in third world countries be sterilized because they cannot possibly care for children at a standard that allows for the kind of life you envision?

Let's encourage all women to carry their child to term and give them up for adoption where they are led by the Lord to do so. I think it's fair to say that God is able to find a home for them.

i'm sorry but i don't trust any stats put out by christian groups.

I didn't say a Christian group, I said Planned Parenthood. There's NOTHING Christian about Planned parenthood.

Abortion is basically wrong biblically no matter how complicated the issue is. It involves the killing of a life.

Just as God showed us mercy, we should have that same mercy and compassion for the baby who thru no fault of her or his own came into this world as a product of rape.

And just as so, I would take care of and raise that baby as if it were my own if my own partner/spouse/girlfriend were raped. I think the difficulty of the situation arises because of the inability to forgive the rapist for what he has done to one's partner, the trauma he has caused and that baby serves only as a grim reminder of the past. With lots of prayer and grace from God, hopefully one will be able to thru the course of time.
