CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
Abortion barbaric

sounds a bit heartless to me. It is saying 'Oh your in a tough situation with poor choices all round so let me abandon you!' The SA do not condone abortion but refuse to judge them. Instead they support them and have far better chance of influencing them and witnessing to them than someone who abandons them.

I have also dropped out of going to my local Salvation Army church for the same reason, they seem to be trying to become a church that doesn't speak out against sin.
Its a slippery slope, they have already said homosexuality is ok despite it going against the teachings of God. Its so hard to find a church that follows the scripture completely and does not care what other people thing of it.
Read the following link, a high up member of the SA calls the Pope "Your Holiness"!
"We clearly recognise your Christlikeness as you seek faithfully to be a true minister of the Gospel."
Utter lies, the Vatican Church is going further from the Gospel everyday!
