In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

you are compartmentalising a foetus as something somehow different from humanity, because it makes it easier for you to support abortion.

it is understandable, you don't want to wrestle with the fact that it is a child, because you have been indoctrinated into mindlessly supporting abortion. the feminist lobby in the media portray the pro-life movement as somehow anti-women (despite the fact that women are the majority in the movement).

when you break free of the shackles of political correctness, you will be able to open your eyes

Isn't that what is most wonderful about the murder industry? People can go in and do their deeds in an anonymous fashion and be praised for being so with the times and not letting a baby interfere with her body.

No, don't worry about what I think. How about worrying about what the baby thinks. And even though you don't believe it today, everyone will worry about what God thinks at some point.

Dont feel bad. It doesn't make sense when I say it either. But it surprises me that you seem to believe you know why someone thinks something, and you can tell them what they think. Did you think that maybe he (and I) have really thought about these things, and are not thinking "I know it's a human, but that doesn't fit my agenda so I wont say it."?

Maybe? Honest question.

I realize that you dont have to be a Christian to disagree with abortion....its just I know more people who arent Christians that believe in abortion than people who are Christians who believe in abortion
