Aboreal Forest

a song I just came up with..

In the Winter forest, the miles get very long,
so the winter miles must sing a song,
to the Northern Light that gather upon the mountaintop
while people squander everything and never do they stop..
Wishful summer is so fleeting, three months or 4 it seems,
so long the winter mile, and northern lights that dream

what do those lights dream of?
Do they ever Know?

It is just the sunshine upon cold winter snow..
Has it an emotion, does it even feel,
that people down here love it, though it is so unreal..
winter miles and northern lights, people hear the cry,
as the sun makes illusions
in the winter sky..
I saw the northern lights one time cascading on my ship..
lay down under its radiance and accepted it

I took its radiation in and knew love was so real..only to find it and have someone else steal..
Winter miles and northern lights in Alaska once my home, its power born of God will not ever be alone..
the Bear of Russia hugs the Eagle of the east, because we know there is no thing as a monster beast..
Winter miles, and northern lights, aurora must be true. Orion dances throughout the skies, and shines upon the dew....

Happily ever after deserves a good story before the glorious conclusion, for sure--and the increased appreciation for it from that work put in, and the intensive introspection (and, perhaps, extrospection) to get there. Interesting when appreciation for the journey in and of itself is discovered. Lessons learned!
