The best book/study guide I have ever used was 21st Century Disciples with a First Century Faith by Waldo Werning. Definitely Lutheran in perspective, good questions, and it allows the leaders to add material as needed.

Check it out. I can also give you more titles that would be acceptable.

(PS, I know some don't think highly of Werning, but his material is superb.)
