Abiogenesis = a_biogenesis = not_from life.

Abiogenesis is a descriptive term that says that life did not arise from life ... nothing more, nothing less.

Asking someone where life came from and he answering, "Abiogenesis", is like asking, "Who parked this car here?", and someone answering, "Not John."

Since Adam & Eve came from God, and since God is Life, we believe in biogenesis, not abiogenesis.

Science makes lots and lots and lots of claims. To the point with string theory they almost say anything and everything you can imagine is true. So it really does not matter unless they can prove it under controled situations. They spent huge amounts of money looking for the Higgs bosom particle. So unless they can offer up some proof then it is another hypothesis and the vast majority of hypothesis turn out to be duds. Even Hawking was willing to bet $100 that the Higgs bosom particle hypothesis was a dud. Edison was wrong over 10,000 times before he finally got it right. Edison learned a lot along the way, so it was all far from a waste of time. Lots of people tried to fly but only the Right Brothers came up with the right formula. No one else could get the math right and without the right math you ain't gonna fly. So you can believe all you want to believe but it ain't gonna happen until you get it right. When it comes to Abiogenesis they don't got it right or they would get it to work.

Genesis 2:19 And out of the ground the Lord God formed every beast of the field, and every fowl of the air; and brought them unto Adam to see what he would call them: and whatsoever Adam called every living creature, that was the name thereof.

I think I understand the verses ok. And I agree that dust is non-life. The point that Gen. 2:7 makes is that while man was *formed* from the dust, he didn't become a living being until God breathed into him the breath of life.
