Having come face to face with one of these I can tell you they are both quite large and harmless to humans.

I googled it....spiders creep me out if they come too close
I watched the movie 'arachnaphobia' and climbed up the back of my couch...whooping and hollaring ; I even scared my dog
I do admire spiders and webs if they stay OUTSIDE and don't touch me

I have a healthy respect for these guys too, after getting stung a few times in my youth
