Ussiah (Heb., "the lord is my strength") Ussiah king of Judah reigned from around 791-740/39 BC. The longest account of Ussiah is found in 2 Chron. 26 which says he reigned for 52 years. He Amaziah whom he later succeeded. For part Uzziah's early riegn it is likely Amaziah was a captive in the Northern Kingdom of Israel. His mother who came from Jerusalem was called Jecoliah. he led Judah through a time of great prosperity into a period of rapid decline.

Xerxes This king of Persia is mentioned in the book of Ezra 4:6. He was one of the great kings of hte persian empire, ruling from 486-465 BC. He was the son of Darius the Great. An inscription fount at Persepolis indicates the etent of his rule. He put down rebellions in his empire most brutally and even attacked Greece, burning the city of Athens in the process.
