  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

Of course, lots of speculation, but it was enjoyable. I heard an interview with the director on the radio today. He said ABC purchased the movie a few years ago and were waiting for the economically correct time to play it. At the time, it was supposedly the most graphic crucifixion on television. After Passion, though....

That doesn't matter, however. I had some disagreements with the portrayal of certain things. It made it appear the Judas recommended that Jesus power up and send out the disciples.

Also, did you notice it was Romans who arrested him and not representatives of the temple?

I made it through about 10 minutes before succumbing to retching. When Jesus explains about His driving the moneychgangers out of the temple, "I lost my temper! It was a mistake. You can't reach people by yelling at them and destroying their business" I knew that all the Jesus haters were in for a treat with a non-divine Jesus admitting mistakes. I checked in a few times during the rest of the broadcast and every peek revealed further garbage.
