ABC needs a smart Christian family

Reginald Finley, aka the InfidelGuy, and his family have been selected as one of the families to participate in the new ABC TV show, "Wife Swap", based on the British program of the same name. Unfortunately, they're having trouble finding a Christian couple who can defend their views as well as Reggie and Amber can.

Here's an excerpt from Reggie's post about it on his forum:

Post in every single Christian forum you are a member of, and aren't, and tell them about this unique opportunity.

Inform them that ABC's wifeswap are looking for a family that will be strong enough to swap with the InfidelGuy's family. They are looking for an intelligent and fun family that can defend their views eloquently. They have to have a familiy with kids to participate. This should bring in some interest. It should be quite an interesting experience for all involved. For 10 days, the wives from the two families switch places (no, not in the bedroom). For the first 5 days, the "new wife" just fits in with the ways that the family is accustomed to doing things. For the final five days, she asserts herself and organizes the household her way. When it's all done, each family receives $5000 in compensation.

Are you sure it's not $50,000? If people think it's $5000, I'm not surprised they can't find anyone.

Really? $5000.00 for ten days work sounds like a pretty hefty pay check to me.

I'm pretty sure it's only $5000 (which is better than a kick in the head) on ABC's Wife Swap. The Fox network has a similar show, Trading Spouses, in which each wife decide at the end how the other family will spend $50,000.

Nah, the whole show just sounds kindof stupid. Reality TV in general is getting out of hand.

Same with me. I dealt with enough problems from kids at school about mormons and "wifeswapping". Now they have reality TV shows that glorify this horrible practice. Disgusting.

It seems to me that it's more akin to a student exchange program than what usually comes to mind when one hears the term "wife swap". People who come from different backgrounds and who live differently from each other experience (for a short time) life on the "other side". Potentially, it's an interesting idea.
