Nu 14:

33 Your children will be shepherds in the wilderness for forty years, and they will suffer for your unfaithfulness until the last of your bodies lies in the wilderness. 34In keeping with the forty days you spied out the land, you shall bear your guilt forty years—a year for each day—and you will experience My alienation.
After exiting Egypt, the Israelites spent 40 years in the wilderness.

Numbers 33:

38 At the LORD’s command, Aaron the priest climbed Mount Hor and died there on the first day of the fifth month, in the fortieth year after the Israelites had come out of the land of Egypt. 39 Aaron was 123 years old when he died on Mount Hor.
Aaron died around the middle of the 40th year.

De 34:

7 Moses was a hundred and twenty years old when he died, yet his eyes were not weak, and his vitality had not diminished. 8 The Israelites grieved for Moses in the plains of Moab thirty days, until the time of weeping and mourning for Moses came to an end.
Moses died a few months after Aaron, at least a month before the end of the 40th year. Then Joshua led the Israelites into the promised land.

Aaron died at 123 years old, and Moses died at 120 a few months later. Aaron was born three years before Moses.

Exodus 7:

7 Now Moses was eighty years old, and Aaron eighty-three years old, when they spoke to Pharaoh.
