Anhelyna - thankyou! I like her too. This background is beautiful.

She's enjoying getting to wear colours again too. I wore black for Holy Week, white for Bright Week, and now I get to wear colours again. As much fun as wearing the white was, and as much as the black meant to me...getting to pick fun clothes to wear again is good

I might do what you suggested, Akathist.

I feel the same way about my own clothes. I wore dark for all of lent, even on days I couldn't go to services. Then I wore black the second half of Holy Week (I don't own enough to wear it all week). Then I wore a white top and light skirt or pants for bright week.

Now I feel so much freedom to wear colors. I got out a new green top yesterday and the day before I wore yellow. I love colors!

I have to buck the tide here. This is refreshing! Much better than tat other one with way too much extraneous stuff. Too cluttered for my spartan tastes.
Besides, most of us have a high speed connection, but for the folks on dialup the old one was absolutely miserable, almost unusable.

We now have new skins to choose from. Look at the very bottom next to the copyright. There is a drop down with a couple options.

The Moody Sky skin is very easy on my eyes.

I don't like the changes. To me, it seems less user friendly. I've been trying to figure out how to change my user title. I've just wasted 15 minutes trying to figure it out. Can anyone tell me where to find the page where I can do that?

I find the giant backgrounds with characters to be really distracting.

To change your custom title:

At the top of the screen go to "User CP"

Then click on "Edit your details" which is an option left column of the screen.

It will be the first option in the "Optional Information" box.

is it just me or does the new cf have more problems than the old one?
also, the old cf seemed a lot more fun. that's the whole reason i joined. if i'd seen it like this i really don't think i would have joined.
ps. all my blessings are gone. i hope all my extra items are too (i got too many!)

I think both CFs have problems.

I still wish I could get an icon for an avatar.

They are currently running at bare bones. Lots of options will be added back as they get time.

I have improved the garish blue by changing the skin to ' CF2 in the white sky'

One thing I would really like to see return is the option at the bottom of a page to click on a button and go straight to the index again - I know I'm lazy but I find having to scroll up again is a blasted nuisance.

I prefer the moody sky skin. The big patches of white on the white sky skin annoy me.
