A word about when your plans just won't go through

The Lord told me to share this word on this forum, but that it is not for everyone. I don't know who is supposed to receive it. But take it, if it's for you.

Ezekiel 37

The bones, sinews, flesh, and everything were aligned and ready to go. But they did not arise and go forth as living beings. So it has been with your plans in God. You have made all the necessary preparations. You have gotten all your ducks in a row. And for all your efforts, nothing seems to come of this.

God says that what has happened was NOT to show you that your labor was vain or of the flesh, but to let you know that with all your preparations, you still need Him to breathe on it. For you've been raised and taught about personal responsibility, about doing your part, about the works of faith you must do, about planting and watering, and basically about fulfilling what you know you should do.

You have done it all and then some. Rest, for your labor is not in vain in the Lord. God wants to breathe on your situation.

Adam did not begin to live until God breathed.
The disciples did not begin the Life of the Spirit until Jesus breathed.

If you think you have lived up until now, just wait till God breathes.

Wow! Well I'm not sure whether it's for me or not, but our church is in a very bad way - we have mentioned closure - and our minister has often read Ezekiel 37 at church council meetings and other gatherings. We need God's Spirit, and I know I do too.

Breathe on me breath of God.

Thank you. Though I'm probably not the only one, I can say that was for me. I feel like I'm running into dead ends. God gave me instructions and direction. I've waited, I've stood in faith, I've spoke to the mountain and at the end, feel like I'm beating my head against a brick wall. Thank God for His breath of life.

Great message for the lost! I thank God for being Born Again daily. He breathed on me in 1984 and I've never been the same or without His breath since.
