  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

You are about to be married.
We have spent many hours talking about marriage and I am sure you are well prepared to be married.
I want to reinforce something I have told you several times because I think it is essential to your marriage.
There are two things that are essential if you are going to have a happy marriage:
1. GOD has to be first and foremost the center of each of your lives and the center of your marriage.
2. There are three Greek words for love. Eros (which is concerned about what it gets), Fillio (which is friendship, companionship) and Agape (which is about giving)
In English we have only one word because in marriage all three aspects must be had by both of you. Yes there will be much pleasure for you to experience in your marriage. The pleasure was put there by GOD for you to enjoy. Enjoy it. But if either of you stop there you will miss the best parts of your marriage.
Develop a deep friendship. Talk with each other about everything!! Do things together.
Jim you may think you hate Opera but if Jane wants to go to the Opera go with her!! You might be surprised by how much fun you will have. (you might end up not liking the opera but you might find yourself enjoying Jane’s pleasure)
Jane you might think you hate football but if Jim asks you to go to a game go. (you might find you like it but if you don’t you will probably enjoy watching how much fun Jim has)
Agape. Loving your partner so much that you want to give everything you have to help them be happy now and forever. Hopefully both of you will put your spouse’s happiness above your own.
May GOD bless you with a complete love for each other; and many children!!
