  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

Brenda...all I can do is pray for you...I do disagree with your statement. Things happen to us for a reasons that we may not yet be able to comprehend. At one time, I suffered years of heartaches due to complications surrounding my car accident. God will NEVER give up on you, but it sounds as if you are giving up on yourself. We must not blame God for the negative things that happen in our lives, ultimately they are all experiences that will promote growth. I believe even through the most difficult and darkest times in our lives, we will grow spiritually from each and every experience. I am sorry that you are in so much pain and I am sorry that you feel at war with God, for now is the time when you need God the most in your life, there will never be a time when one should be considered to be on opposite ends with God. I will pray for and with you. God loves you more than you could ever realize.

Brenda, God is not against you, He loves you dearly. Please don't give up on God for He would never give up on you. Sometimes we go through severe trials to test our faith and what remains is pure.
God never promised us a comfortable life, but He did promise us His peace.

Philippians 4:6 Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.

4:7 And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

4:8 Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things [are] honest, whatsoever things [are] just, whatsoever things [are] pure, whatsoever things [are] lovely, whatsoever things [are] of good report; if [there be] any virtue, and if [there be] any praise, think on these things.

So make your requests known to God in faith and His peace will guard your heart and mind through Jesus.
Submit your heart and life to God through Jesus and you will find He was there all the time.

God bless you Brenda and I too will continue to pray for you.

God isnt causing your problems. They are just circumstances. God is helping you deal with them. I have seen that in the short time I have known you online. The more you trust in God the closer you will grow to Him. He will change you and give you what you need. It may not be what you want. There is a difference. Pray for Gods will in your life to be done. Thank Him for what He has already given you. Pray that he allow you to love Him more.

Still praying for you often. God bless you Brenda.

Hi Brenda. It makes me sad, to know your so sad. I haven't spoken with you before. I just reviewed your previous posts, but I still do not understand what is hurting you. You seem to be lonely. I bet your real pretty when you smile. If you ever want to talk, I have a good ear.

Try living one day at a time. You seem to be cursing your whole life and you can not possibly know for sure what tomorrow will bring. I went through a bad time in my life. A very smart person told me to be thankful. I
thought ...thankful??? What do I have to be thankful for??? He said, find something! So I was thankful for my dog. He told me to thank God for my dog. So I said a prayer and thanked God for my dog. He told me... tomorrow no matter how bad of a day you have...before you go to sleep.... pray and thank God for something and also thank him for your dog. So I thanked him for my dog and my shoes. I was in a pretty bad way. He told me to continue this for a month. Do not ask God for anything. Do not complain. Just pray and give thanks...adding something new each day.

It changed my life. I began to see the beauty all around. I began to smile and be thankful for my life. The more thankful I was it seemed the more I had to be thankful for. I asked my friend ...was it magic? He laughed and told me that God wants us to love him. When we are thankful it opens a flow of love. He showed me this verse....

16 Be joyful always; 17 pray continually; 18 give thanks in all circumstances, for this is God's will for you in Christ Jesus.

I guess I have rambled enough.

Your Friend in Christ
:) LOVE
