A waivering in my beliefs

Good evening friends, I am new to the forums and internet related topics, so I am quite glad I have been able to set up an account of my own.

I have set up this new thread in hope of finding the answers to questions which will ease a waivering in my beliefs. I have been told by many Christian groups visiting my door of many stories of a man who lived thousands of years ago; a man who did the impossible on several occasions; an unselfish man who saved the lives of many less fortunate - a man of God. I have been rather sheltered from religions in my up-bringing, with my parents being strict Muslims, however I feel that from the tales I have been told that I should not be as narrow minded as to cancel out any other beliefs and should investigate further into this religion called "Christianity".

Who was this extraordinary man and how do you feel he overcame such a great disability?

This man was Jesus Christ, he was God's Son come to earth to save us. If you talk to Jesus and ask him to show you the truth, he WILL. He will come and live within you and you will become a new creation. Our God is a trinity made up of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. The Son came and died a death he didn't deserve after living a completely sinless life. Those that believe in him and give their life to him will recieve the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit will guide you into all truth. You need to repent of your sins and ask God forgiveness and be willing to follow Jesus and his teachings. We are saved not by works but by the Grace of a Good God. We are saved not because of what WE do but because of what Jesus did for us! Once you give your life to Jesus and he gives you the Holy Spirit blinders will fall from your eyes and you will look at the Bible, his word with new eyes and you will understand it. If you are interested in becoming a Christian ask Jesus for truth and for forgiveness and invite him into your life, then find a church and start going there where you can meet other believers and a good Pastor where you can learn how to walk the walk that Jesus did. Welcome to CF and i hope you find Jesus as he will be your guide, teacher and best friend. God bless you. I am praying for you.

But how did he overcome such a great disability, and more importantly how could anybody take him seriously?

I'm trying to understand what you're saying. Could you give more details on "great disability" it's in both your posts?

I too am not sure what you mean about a disability? Our Lord didn't have a disability. This was God who came to earth as a man and he lived a sinless life.

The head of Jesus of Nazareth was and is in no way abnormal. He did not overcome any disability. He overcame every enemy that ever is, was, or ever shall be; He is greater than all other men and women that ever did or ever shall be on this or any other earth, or any of the heavens, past, present, or future.

Abnormal... head? I've never heard of that. Perhaps you misunderstood something the missionaries said.
