In a small house lived David, his old father, his old mother, his good wife, his son and his daughter. Every day his father sat in his chair, his mother sat in her chair. His wife made their bread. His son and his daughter read words of Torah. David made all the furniture for their little house. David loved everyone in his house, but there was no peace because there was no room in their little house. And it was very bad.
One day David went out of the borders of his city to see a wise man. David said to the wise man, My lord, our house is very small and there are many people in this little house. There is no room and there is no peace and it is very bad.
The wise man said, Who lives in your house?
David said, My old father, my old mother, my good wife, my son and my daughter.
The wise man said, Do you have animals near your house?
David said, There are animals in the field.
The wise man said, Then take your animal from your field into your house.
David went to his house and he did what the wise man said. He took a cow from the field into his house. Then they lived in his house David, his old father, his old mother, his good wife, his son, his daughter and a cow. But there was no peace because there was no room and it was very bad.
Again David went out of the city to find the wise man. David said, My lord, now there is in my little house my old father, my old mother, my good wife, my son, my daughter and a cow. There is no peace because there is no room and it is very bad!
The wise man said, Do you have a flock?
David said, Yes, I have a flock.
The wise man said, Take one from your flock and bring it into your house.
David went to his house and he did what the wise man said. He took a goat of the field into his house. Then they lived in his house David, his old father, his old mother, his good wife, his son, his daughter, a cow and a goat. But there was no peace because there was no room and it was very bad.

The wise man said, Do you have sheep?
David said, Yes, I have sheep.
The wise man said, Bring one of your sheep into your house.
David went to his house and he did what the wise man said. He took a goat of the field into his house. David went home and did as the wise man said. He took the cow, the goat and the sheep and put them back in the field. BEHOLD, there was much peace. BEHOLD, there was room for everyone. And it was good. It was very, very good!
