Do you want to have your house built or buy one that has been around a few years?

I either want to build one or buy/inherit an old one. I like my grandparents house, it is over 180 years old. Jesse James spent a few nights there. I think it has some really neat things about it. I would love to have it, but doubt my mom will get it, and therefore I won't get it...lol

I like houses with history, but I would also see the value of building my own. I would not one of these in a housing development. They tend to lack character.

Do attics and basements freak you out?

No, some basements are really really nice. There is a woman at my church that has a basement that has two bedrooms and a family/gameroom. I love it. I want a basement. I want one that is lived in and not for storage. Basements are cooler in the summer and warmer in the winter.
