you have stellar evolution, if you search google scholar, and you have biological evolution, and you have chemical evolution (abiogenesis), all searchable on google scholar as terms scientists use. I wish to question stellar evolution, in this thread....

in the first video...richard dawkins believes nothing caused everything. But nothing cannot perform actions" a college student rightly states, in the second video. Both video's prove evolution false. not just stellar evolution, but the second video proves chemical and biological evolution false as well. In fact 90% of atheists questioned in the long video, recanted of their views and became theist by the end of the movie. So I challenge you atheists out there, to watch both video's in entirety.

Oh now come on Grady. It's delusional to expect folks, especially atheists, to watch an hour long Ray Comfort video on YouTube called The Atheist Delusion. I don't know why atheists recanting of views, if that's what they even do, would mean squat when it comes to evolution.

Can you explain for yourself why you think it's false?

I am intrigued why you say the second video disproves "chemical evolution".

First off: abiogenesis is not really part of evolution. Evolution describes the change in life over time. AFTER it is formed.

Secondly: abiogenesis still uses plain old everyday chemistry. There's nothing "magical" about RNA or DNA. They follow standard old-as-dirt chemical laws. Hydrogen bonding, bonding angles that are as they should be, the whole shooting match. In fact there's reason to believe that homochirality in living systems is related to plain old ABSORPTION conformations of many stereoisomers onto inorganic surfaces (clays or carbonates etc.)

Life just screams that it is part and parcel of the natural world. No supernatural features necessary.

So Grady, what is your take as a PhD evolutionary biologists on this topic?

Given that this is purported to be just another Ray Comfort "man-on-the-street-interview" type video, then I have zero interest in watching it. The whole concept is a farce.

And besides, the last time you posted something (that 'design' article in the other thread), you proved completely unwilling or unable to discuss it. Why would I expect this time to be any different?

If you watch all of the video that I linked and ask appropriate questions about it so that I know that you watched it I will not only watch the Ray Comfort video. I will refute it with the times and what his errors were.

So I will watch a little bit of it without you watching the video that you said that you would watch, if you just give me the times that those claims were made. I will watch the whole video once you watch the one that you said that you would watch.

The only things Ray Comfort videos are evidence for are the intellectual bankruptcy of his apologetics approach, and the poor state of education about the biological sciences and epistemology.

I see that a lot. A lot of people who don't really understand a topic find a video that really impresses them, but they can't quite bring up any actual point or reason why. It all just sounds so very sciencey doesn't it?

All that talk about thermodynamics and everything! Wow!

My biggest question is: why do people who don't know much of anything about these technical topics want to tell everyone about why the technical topic is wrong?

My knowledge about abiogenesis doesn't just come from one video. I could talk about it at length if you like. Any time you feel you have even a clue about the topic sufficient to critique it I'd love to hear your critiques.

YOUR critiques...not someone you just happened to hear say something somewhere.

I have learned over the years that when someone talks really big about how this or that is wrong-wrong-wrong and the only defense they have for their position is to throw up 2 hours of videos but REFUSE to actually say anything about the details themselves, it's usually because they don't really know any of the details behind the science they are decreeing is wrong. They just like that someone somewhere said it was wrong.

These people, of course, have NO STANDING to complain to others about their degrees being in the wrong field.
