True, but I meant the idea of time with nothing else; like talking about distance without space, or volume in 2 dimensions...

I get it .. but that doesn't negate the simple observation that the idea of time and nothing, are just one's ideas, both of which clearly depend on someone existing in order to express those concepts.
If neither of us were here, (aka: the true 'nothing' concept), we wouldn't be conceptualising the existence of 'the time' or 'the nothing' now would we?
