how do u know if u are living the life that god wants u too be living and how do u know when u are doing somehting that he wants u do be doing?

Is what you're doing loving? Compassionate? Gracious and merciful? Is it in line with truth and justice? And most importantly to the Christian, does it glorify God?

Seek God in all that you do, and He will lead you in all that you do.

You ask, you listen and He tells you. :)

Being in a postion to hear. Read your Bible, sometimes answers are in scripture. Pray, doubts can be cleared up by prayer. If you are focused on God you should get a for sure kinds feeling about what your doing. If you have doubts write them down and make sure they are not just something your interjecting on yourself. Maybe this is just a temporary situation and you will be moving on soon. Keep your heart open is all I can say.

Ad 1.
Considering that Odin Allfather pretty consistently seems to want to gather the brave warriors who fell in battle in his hall of Valhalla, I think that being brave, i. e. conquering and defeating your fear, is by and large what he'd want me to do.

Ad 2.
We never really know. You see, we do have our brains for thinking with them, so let's just use them and find the best possible answer. ;)

God has given us all the ability to know when we are being loving or unloving. God wants us to be loving.

Didn't God know what you would be doing even before He created you? Could God be wrong? No. Ergo, whatever you are doing is what you are supposed to be doing.

You just chipped a few gear teeth on that one.

... ergo, whatever you are doing is what God knew you would do.

That's it in a nutshell.

To answer a question with a question... How do you know when you are doing something your best friend or lover wants you to do. Answer: You spend time with them, learning about their likes and dislikes until your are certain beyond a shadow of a doubt what would make them happy.

Spend time studying God's love letters to us, His Holy Scripture, from Genesis through Revelation, over and over until you can tell without thinking what God expects of you. Then, when you are not sure, lift your request up to Him, but be prepared to sit quietly, patiently, observantly waiting for an answer. You will know when it comes.

God usually answers in three ways... "Yes", "No", and "Not now".

Son-cerely,
Nathan Powers

Can you change what God knew you would do? Nope. So you are doing what you are supposed to be doing.

I probably can't articulate well God's perspective, but OUR perspective is that God tells us what will happen if we presumably continue on a given course. The hearer of that chooses for themselves how they will react to that revealed information and may or may not alter course. God then reveals what is to be after such a change of course (or heart) or carries out His will if no change. This is repeated over and over in Christian teaching. Some good examples would be the Judgment of Nineveh, but the repentance of the city or the declaration of Sodom and Gomorrah being destroyed and Abraham petitioning for the righteous people within.
God speaks to us on our level, not as an adult would talk to an adult, but as a Father talks to a young child.
What it sounds like you assert is predestination and puppetry. That view is not shared by me and sounds more like the child unknowledgeable in the full concept of time and asserting what the parent does based on a child's selfish viewpoint.
Your assertion leaves no room for accountability, grace or repentance.

IOW - I still disagree with your premise.
