  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Lately I've been challenged by God to really show Him I am serious with living my life for Him. Challenged to pray and to focus more on Him. A challenge I'm more then wiling to take on as I've missed being able to pray, missed the time where I could sit by the computer, Tv or do whatever and just drop everything and pray. I want that once again and I'm certain I will.

There is a lot going on in the world today. There was talk about taking away the bibles (New Testament) that is place on the hotels here in Sweden. Where I live we signed a protest list and today at church I found out that the bibles will NOT be taken away. But there is not only cause there is names on a list, it's because people have prayed. :clap:

There is more power in our prayers then we ever can imagine.
it's just amazing!!!!
It's really so nice becuase this year when i was praying i knew that i have to give it all for God , praying and sharing the Bible with my friends at univeristy!
and for the Bible in hotels it's so so so nice! yes prayer is POWERFUL!last summer when we had bad situations here war and stuff we knew that nothing can end without ptayer! and really we knew that prayer saved us!!
It's so so so noce to see the Spirt working!!

When I hear that I have to share another thing I heard at church today. Our pastor have been to some meeting with other pastors in Sweden. And there was someone who said this.

"He was at a gasstation, had filled up his tank and went in to pay. The woman behind the counter saw the cross hanging in a chain around his neck. She asks him "Are you a christian?" He says yes I am. She says, I want to be one as well. He says, then let us pray. So right there in the gasstation they pray and she gives her life to God. And she begins speaking in tounges. Now there was a few people waiting to pay for their gas and so as well. And a man in the line starts to cry. It turns out, she was speaking his native language. (This man was not swedish to begin with).

God is awesome! He totally works in ways we don't understand.

Make the most of every opportunity. Let your conversation be always full of grace, seasoned with salt, so that you may know how to answer everyone.

--Colossians 4:5-6
Good reminder!

I have to watch my tongue...sometimes say a lot of foolish things :|

Psalms 36
verses 5-9
"Your lovingkindness, O Lord, extends to the heavens, Your faithfulness reaches to the skies.
Your righteousness is like the mountains of God; Your judgements are like a great deep. O Lord, You preserve man and beast.
How precious is Your lovingkindness, O God! And the children of men take refuge in the shadow of Your wings.
They drink of their fill of the abundance of Your house; And You give them to drink of the river of Your delights.
For with You is the fountain of life; In Your light we see light."

I surrender All :bow: (J.W. Van Deventer)

1. All to Jesus I surrender;
all to him I freely give;
I will ever love and trust him,
in his presence daily live.

Refrain:
I surrender all, I surrender all,
all to thee, my blessed Savior,
I surrender all.

2. All to Jesus I surrender;
humbly at his feet I bow,
worldly pleasures all forsaken;
take me, Jesus, take me now.
(Refrain)

3. All to Jesus I surrender;
make me, Savior, wholly thine;
fill me with thy love and power;
truly know that thou art mine.
(Refrain)

4. All to Jesus I surrender;
Lord, I give myself to thee;
fill me with thy love and power;
let thy blessing fall on me.
(Refrain)

5. All to Jesus I surrender;
now I feel the sacred flame.
O the joy of full salvation!
Glory, glory, to his name!

:bow::bow:
