These are very precious verses about Jesus, about His compassion and reassuring the man that He wanted to help Him.

A man with leprosy came to him and begged him on his knees, "If you are willing, you can make me clean." Filled with compassion, Jesus reached out his hand and touched the man. "I am willing," he said. "Be clean!"
Immediately the leprosy left him and he was cured.

Mark 1:40-42

I love this passage of scripture. What an amazing line, coming from the King of Kings!... "I am willing."

the fotprints poem

One night a man had a dream. He dreamed
he was walking along the beach with the LORD.

Across the sky flashed scenes from his life.
For each scene he noticed two sets of
footprints in the sand: one belonging
to him, and the other to the LORD.

When the last scene of his life flashed before him,
he looked back at the footprints in the sand.

He noticed that many times along the path of
his life there was only one set of footprints.

He also noticed that it happened at the very
lowest and saddest times in his life.

This really bothered him and he
questioned the LORD about it:

"LORD, you said that once I decided to follow
you, you'd walk with me all the way.
But I have noticed that during the most
troublesome times in my life,
there is only one set of footprints.
I don't understand why when
I needed you most you would leave me."

The LORD replied:

"My son, my precious child,
I love you and I would never leave you.
During your times of trial and suffering,
when you see only one set of footprints,
it was then that I carried you."​

Lately I've been challenged by God to really show Him I am serious with living my life for Him. Challenged to pray and to focus more on Him. A challenge I'm more then wiling to take on as I've missed being able to pray, missed the time where I could sit by the computer, Tv or do whatever and just drop everything and pray. I want that once again and I'm certain I will.

There is a lot going on in the world today. There was talk about taking away the bibles (New Testament) that is place on the hotels here in Sweden. Where I live we signed a protest list and today at church I found out that the bibles will NOT be taken away. But there is not only cause there is names on a list, it's because people have prayed.

There is more power in our prayers then we ever can imagine.
