many many times when we pray we want God to answer us loudly and do something great! but when i read this i was remined that God can do great thing but gently

Hi everyone

I would like to tell you all how wonderful our magnificent God really is. An unbelievable event happened to me the other day and I would like to share
it.
At our daily bible study at work my friend read this passage that really moved me deeply. It was 1PETER~ 3:12
FOR THE EYES OF THE LORD ARE
ON THE RIGHTIOUS AND HIS EARS
ARE ATTENTIVE TO THEIR CRY
I was thinking, perhaps God does not hear my cry because I am by no means righteous! The passage moved me so deeply that I shared it with my wife and mother in Law. It was constantly on my mind through out the night and into the next day. I was so sad wondering if He hears my cry. So much so that I wrote in my prayer journal.
" Father please show me that I am inline with your will. I am foolish and unwise. I cannot see your hand in my life. Shout to me my God! I cannot recognize your suddle ways." I wrote this in tears and pain. I waited and looked for Him to no avail all the next day at work. I was severely depressed and felt alone and abandoned when I got home. I decided to go to my room and turn on my computer and check in on this site. I then noticed a private message in my PM box from AllForJesus.It was a new guestbook entry. Upon opening it I almost fell out of my chair...It read

THE EYES OF THE LORD ARE ON THE RIGHTEOUS AND HIS EARS ARE ATTENTIVE TO THEIR CRY~PSALM 35:15

How in the world!!! The very passage I was agonizing over was in my PM box sent to me by the first friend I made on here!!! I instantly was overcome with peace and joy knowing that my Father was indeed hearing my cries despite me lacking my own righteousness, He hears me because I have accepted Christ's righteousness in place of my own. For I am but a fool and unwise, He is all there is good in me and yet He took the time to touch me that day. How amazing is His Grace? I went from tears of depression to tears of joy and have been riding high ever since...

Ervertime i feel falling, God reminds me that nothing can seprate me from His love! and that i trust in a Strong powerful God that will never leave me!!

I prayed this morning that He would give me an opportunity to witness to a friend. Almost as soon as we met up, she asked me ( no prompting by me!) if she could come to church with me this Sunday, and then told me that her 16 year old son had been to "some strange evangelistic thing", and now " keeps reading bits of the Bible!
A definite case of " more than you ask or imagine"!!
Thank You, Jesus!

That power includes discipline for me to practise enought to get into music at uni...

God is amazing. Life throws many difficult things at us, but it is through pain and struggles that we grow the most. And His divine power gives me what need to get through life!!!
