  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

I do not promote any virture with regard to who practices anal contact. It is vulgar and entirely wrong. It is harmful. I can honestly say that if anyone has ever had multiple partners or is in a relationship with someone who has had multiple partners, then there is a very good chance that mouth and or throat cancer will result...

You mean like women who have intercourse with multiple partners have a good chance of getting cervical cancer?

I do not believe that the vast majority of homosexuals practice either safe sex or sex only with one partner their entire lifetime. I feel it runs counter to the character they developed.

And I know (based on surveys) that the vast majority of heterosexuals do not practice either safe sex or sex with one partner their entire lifetime. I seem to recall it is over 90% have over multiple partners.

Oddly enough within a stones throw from my house there are two houses across the street from each other where lesbians lived. The one couple were teachers. Both have split up ---- but then they were not married. Would it really make a difference? GOD certainly isn't going to hold them together ---- no matter what they care to call their relationship...

Could you have more of a double standard? Of course they weren't marry since gays can't legally marry in this country (which is why Massachusetts is suing DOMA).

And since conservative Christians divorce rates are among the highest in the US, it isn't like God is holding their relationships together, either. But at least they can get married, which does provide additional security and helps strengthen the relationship (with or without God).

If you are a husband then she is your wife. If you are a woman, then the woman you are with is simply a reflection of yourself and not a counterpart.

Or so you claim. While the Bible may not mention gay marriage, even it doesn't support your wackier statements that gays cannot love or that people of the same gender are merely reflections of yourself.

What gives you the right to judge me? Character, what do you know of character? What do you establish it on?
I'm not judging you. I'm asking how you get the right to judge people you don't know.
