CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

It is interesting. I got slightly confuzzled at the end, you may want to make it more clear that the Tal is instantly in this strange forest. Other than that, you've got a pretty good story started!

Ok, I will try and clear it up, this is still my first draft. Yes very confusing I agree, but it gets less confusing... I think. I have played with different ways of them getting transported, anybody have any better suggestions? Honestly, it scared me too.

Actually I've decided that since the rest of the story has no fantasy in it, why should the first part? I guess I will do the classic, young boy wants to be swordfighter, is away practicing, village burned, nothing left to see, wants to get revenge, so joins mercenary group to get more training, mercenary group is the kind that defends villages and stuff for pay. Becomes around second in command or so, finds out of the same bandit group that burned his village is planning to assasinate the king, or something like that, so basically you got an overview of the story, woops .
