A Story Of Heroism Unparalled In History

It makes me cry every time I think about her. She risked being tortured and murdered on over 1500 separate occasions to save the lives of 2500 Jewish children by smuggleing them out of the Warsaw Ghetto. Further she arranged false identification for them and places for them to stay; keeping records of who they really were and where they were staying, so that they might be reunited with their relatives after the war. And when she was finally caught and tortured by the Gestapo, SHE GAVE THEM NOTHING !!!

It is my firm belief that if anyone goes to heaven SHE WILL. I only wish that I were a small fraction as worthy.

Thanks Brinny, you know one lady I told Irena Sendler's story to, said : "WOW, I can't imagine anyone having that much courage! - They should have made her a Saint!" -- And when I think about that, she is right!
